6 Prevention Efforts on Environmental Pollution

According to Law No. 32 of 2009 regarding the Environment explained that efforts to address the problems of pollution consisting of preventive measures against pollution problems to the problems of pollution consists of prevention and control measures.

Prevention is to reduce the sources of environmental impacts more severe. There is no prevention or control is the effort of making the environmental standards of quality raw materials, pengaweasan environment and the use of technology in an effort to overcome the problem of environmental pollution. In general, the following is an attempt prevention of environmental pollution.

  1.  Regulate industrial waste disposal systems that do not pollute the

       environment
  2.  Placing industrial or separate factories from the housing area residents
  3.  Exercise supervision over the use of some pesticides, insecticides and other

       chemicals that could potentially be the cause of environmental pollution.
   4  Greening.
   5. Sanction or penalty is expressly against the perpetrators of activities that

       pollute the environment
   6. Conduct outreach and environmental education to raise public awareness of

       the meaning and the real environmental benefit.
