Faculty Spotlight: Deanna Hoelscher

In this week’s faculty spotlight video, we proudly feature our Center Director, Dr. Deanna Hoelscher. Dr. Hoelscher's work focuses on child and family health, specifically “what they eat, why they eat it, and what we can do to change it.” Dr. Hoelscher has had an impressive career not only exploring child and family nutrition on population and policy levels, but she also has played a major role in highly successful interventions and projects such as CATCH, Lunch is in the bag, CORD, SPAN, and several others. Watch our video to learn more about Dr. Hoelscher and the incredibly rewarding work she does.

Every month we will highlight two faculty members of the Michael & Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living. Tune in each month to learn more about their current projects, thoughts on public health, and advice to future students.
