Texas A&M AgriLife Extension works to bring research-based information and best practice programs that address local and state priority concerns to the people of Texas. AgriLife Extension partners with a variety of other organizations to engage local populations in programs that focus on both individual and environmental change efforts including mitigating drought impacts; conserving water use in homes, landscapes, and production agriculture; improving emergency management; enhancing food security; and protecting human health through education about diet, exercise, and disease prevention and management.
